    What to expect on installation day

    A clean, single-visit fitting process

    The video above walks through a typical secondary glazing installation. Because the units are manufactured to your exact measurements before we arrive, fitting is mostly a matter of positioning, fixing and sealing each frame inside the existing reveal. There is no external scaffolding and the outside appearance of your windows does not change.

    Most rooms are completed within a single visit. We protect floors and furnishings, remove all packaging and check every panel opens, closes and locks smoothly before we leave.

    • Units arrive made to measure, so there is no cutting on site.
    • Perimeter seals are checked carefully, as they matter as much as the glass.
    • We demonstrate how to open, slide and remove panels for cleaning.

    After the installation

    You should notice the difference in outside noise immediately, particularly with traffic and general street noise. Noise reduction of up to 54dB is achievable in suitable configurations; actual results depend on the existing window, the surrounding wall and the quality of installation.
